Reviews and more reviews!

Lately I’ve been swamped between work, reviews, and of course my lovely home life. It’s been a lot of fun delving deeper into product reviews, and I’m really enjoying the variety we’re starting to see with respect to gear. It’s a lot of work lining up the reviews, but the results are well worth it.
Here are the latest reviews:
Yes, we’ve been busy over at HomeTheaterShack, but don’t worry, we’re not slowing down either. Lots of good stuff on the way from Marantz, Legacy Audio, Monster, NuForce, and Onkyo!
Living on the road

I’m now in the middle of one of my longest stints of work-related travel thus far in my career. I have been spending 5 days a week (6 with travel) in Wisconsin since the 2nd of January, and don’t officially get to stay home until I return on the 21st. I’m up here to assist with the implementation and IT roll out of our software with a new customer, and while I truly do enjoy what I’m doing, I do miss my lovely wife Lauren and the comforts of home.
Here are the lessons I have learned these past two weeks:
- The worst part about travelling isn’t the lines, hotel beds, or lack of sleep. It’s the toilet paper.
- If physicists want proof of time-dilation, they need to just take a brief trip to Chicago’s O’Hare airport. Nothing at O’Hare ever happens on time, this is so consistent that a mathematical constant could probably be found that applies to all O’Hare related travel.
- Continental planes have so little leg room that I can neither put down my trap table, not can the person in front of me recline. Apparently the seats actually are shrinking. Check out this interesting article: http://www.independenttraveler.com/resources/article.cfm?AID=161&category=13
As a side note, Lauren and I have begun looking for a new home while I am travelling. Between trying to manage my busy schedule here with the customer, and giving emailed house layouts a quick look, I don’t think I’ve had more than a handful of free minutes during the last few days.
And so it begins…

After a long absence from my blogging career (I let my subscription lapse to be honest) I’ve gone ahead and re-entered the world of blogging. This site should contain my musings, Blu-Ray reviews, How-To Articles, and general blurbs about my life with my lovely wife Lauren.
Thanks for reading!
